You just never know

June 15, 2014

Dear Source…a recent college graduate got a job where she could make a difference, use her skills and have fun.  A few weeks later, she got another job that matched her studies and deep passion. The dilemma?  Both were supposed to be part time jobs and she felt she could do them concurrently. However, the first job turned quickly into three quarters time, thus not allowing time for any flexibility in her young life if she worked both. She struggled with a decision – should she take the job that deeply feed her passion or the one that feed her fun? After some counsel, she sadly turned down the passion job. Here’s the kicker – what she did not know is that the passion job will be available to her in the future when she is ready. Big sigh of relief and wonder at the mysteries of life! You might feel like you are abandoning ship, when in reality, the ship is not ready to sail. The lesson: when making a decision, know that you will never be privy to what life and the Universe have in store for you. Be grateful for being flexible and know that choices made with awareness bring lovely surprises! Thanks for this interesting life reminder, your friend, Suzie…
