Saying good bye to my friend

February 18, 2015

Dear Source…My very dear friend transitioned this week.  I have known for over 35 years. She was so darned upbeat no matter what life threw at her. Her childhood was horrendously difficult with a dead-beat dad and a narcissist mom who abandoned the kids, she at 6 years old had to care for her younger brother and sister. And, she did with her hereditary smile and can do attitude. She was an artful creative genius bringing the right elegant touch to each home she lived in. I tried to follow her example, and be clever, but it was never in me as it was her. Her later years were full of pain and surgeries as her body filled with tumors. Her valiant husband and doctors kept her alive. But, her indomitable spirit was what kept her going. No matter that she lost the use of her legs, no matter she was going in for another trial cyber knife, no matter all her old heartache, emotional or physical pains, you could hear and sense her deep smile and appreciation for life when you chatted with her. She was simply remarkable. I will miss just knowing I could call and hear her speak of appreciation and love of life. She will be a good asset to the spirit world, you are lucky to have her as we were here on this plane. Your sad friend… Suzie
