Passing the whirligig flag

September 9, 2015

Dear Source…I know a few people who are wildly impressive whirligigs. They are in perpetual motion, seeking new adventures, creating impressive ways to be of service, finding avenues to widen their sphere of influence (not for ego’s sake, for goodness sake!), intuitively understanding the tech changes in our world while greeting people around them with a big sincere smile. I am impressed by their talents, kindness and amazing attention to detail. I was that way in my slightly younger years. I notice that my energy is waning from the constant motion and expressive thoughts and actions I had in my 40’s and 50’s. Now, in my late 60’s I still want to make a difference, I still want to deeply contribute to the betterment of all people, I still want to voice my thoughts on the beauty of living a life with the soul first and ego second. But, not as a perpetual motion hardly sleeping whirligig! I prefer my quiet time, meditative moments, reading a good book, hiking into the depths of natural beauty and being with my family. I was a whirligig once and now, I happily enjoy watching those who have stepped into that role. Suzie…
